Box Office: ‘Wonder Woman’ Stands Tall At No. 1 With $57.2M
Another week at the box office and there wasn’t really much of a competition. Wonder Woman took
first place in its second week at the box office with $57.2 million.
This brings its domestic total to $205 million. In its second
weekend, Patty Jenkins’ Wonder Woman made more than both Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad in its second weekend.
The film also only dropped 45% from its first weekend, which is impressive since many superhero films tend to drop between 50%-60% from one weekend to another. Wonder Woman is now only behind The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises in second weekend box office numbers
