Caitlin Mehner joining “The Best of Enemies”

Deadline is reporting that actress Caitlin Mehner has joined the cast of the civil rights drama “The Best of Enemies”. The film, which also stars Taraji P. Henson, Sam Rockwell, Babou Ceesay, Anne Heche, Wes Bentley, Bruce McGill, Nick Searcy, and John Gallagher Jr., is written and directed by Robin Bissell. The film tells the true story of Ann Atwater (played by Henson), “a civil rights activist in Durham, N.C., who battled KKK leader C.P. Ellis (played by Rockwell) for a decade until 1971, when the two agreed to co-chair a two-week community meeting to deal with a court-ordered school desegregation decree.
