Laurence Fishburne has joined the cast of Richard Linklater’s “Where’d You Go, Bernadette?”

The Tracking Board is reporting that Laurence Fishburne has joined the cast of Richard Linklater’s “Where’d You Go, Bernadette?”. The film, which also stars Cate Blanchett, Kristen Wiig, Billy Crudup, James Urbaniak and Judy Greer, is based on the Maria Semple novel of the same name and “follows Bernadette Fox (played by Blanchett), an architect-turned-recluse who goes missing prior to a family vacation. This prompts her husband and 15-year-old daughter to go on an expedition in hopes of finding the third link to their small family.” Urbaniak “will play the role of Marcus Strang, an FBI agent who is the one who informs Bernadett’s husband that his wife has been working with an online virtual assistant company based in New Delhi to get her internet shopping done, and the company is actually a front for the Russian mafia. He then helps to confront Bernadette, but backs off when he realizes a doctor there is conducting an intervention.” “Fishburne will play a man who Bernadette meets along her own journey and was a fan of her work back in the day.” What do you think of Laurence Fishburne joining “Where’d You Go, Bernadette?” Let me know in the comments!
