Mahershala Ali and Brian Tyree Henry joining the cast of the Animated Ultimate Spider-Man film

The Tracking Board is reporting that Mahershala Ali and Brian Tyree Henry have joined the voice cast of the upcoming Animated Ultimate Spider-Man film! The film, which will also feature the voice talents of Shameik Moore and Liev Schreiber, is directed by Bob Persichetti and will hit theaters on December 14th, 2018. “Henry will voice Miles’ detective father, Jefferson Davis, while Ali will voice the larger role of Miles’ uncle, Aaron Davis, who loves his nephew but operates on the wrong side of the law.” Phil Lord and Chris Miller are producing; with “Gravity Falls” creator Alex Hirsch attached as a “story contributor”.
