Matt Reeves’ comments on “The Batman”

While speaking to New Trailer Buzz, director Matt Reeves discussed his approach to the upcoming Batman standalone film! Reeves said the following: “There’s a chance to do an almost noir driven, detective version of Batman that is point-of-view driven in a very very powerful way, that will hopefully connect you to what’s going on inside

of his head and inside of his heart.” “The Batman”, which stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Jim Gordon and Joe Manganiello as Deathstroke, is directed by Matt Reeves and will begin production sometime in 2018. Affleck was previously attached to direct the film, although exited the directors chair in order to focus on portraying the iconic superhero.
