Reginald Hudlin will direct a film adaptation of Valiant Comics’ “Shadowman”
The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that “Marshall” director
Reginald Hudlin will direct a film adaptation of Valiant Comics’
“Shadowman”! The film, which is written by Hudlin and Adam Simon
(previous drafts were penned by executive producer J. Michael
Straczynski), tells the story of “an African-American musician in New
Orleans who becomes infected by a spirit that allows him otherworldly
abilities. As the latest incarnation of the titular Shadowman, a
mystical defender of Earth against demonic invasion, he has to protect
against threats from Master Darque and other denizens of the netherworld
known as the Deadside.” The film is a part of a larger Valiant
cinematic universe which features films such as “Bloodshot”, “Harbinger”
and “Archer & Armstrong”, and will include characters like the
H.A.R.D. Corps, Livewire, Generation Zero and Faith. What do you think
of Reginald Hudlin directing Valiant Comics’ “Shadowman”? Let me know in
