“Spider-Man: Homecoming” teasing the upcoming “Ant-Man” sequel

Director Peyton Reed has taken to social media to confirm that composer Christophe Beck will return to score Marvel’s “Ant-Man and the WASP”! The film, which stars Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Hannah John-Kamen, Michael Peña, David Dastmalchian, T.I. and Michael Douglas, is directed by Peyton Reed and hits theaters on July 6th, 2018. Beck, who is best known for his work on Disney’s “Frozen”, also composed the score for the 2015 original Marvel film. In related news, Reed has also taken to social media to tease a big “Ant-Man and the WASP”-related announcement - captioning the first picture from his new Instagram account (@mrpeytonreed): “Stay tuned. #antmanandthewasp”. Fans have begun speculating this news could be either confirmation of the long standing rumor that Sharon Stone will play Janet Van Dayne in the film and/or the reveal of a post-credits scene in “Spider-Man: Homecoming” teasing the upcoming “Ant-Man” sequel.
