“The Crooked Man”; an upcoming spinoff film set in the “Conjuring” universe.

The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that New Line Cinema is developing “The Crooked Man”; an upcoming spinoff film set in the “Conjuring” universe. The film, which is written by Mike Van Waes from a story by James Wan, will focus on the character of the Crooked Man - who was first introduced in the 2016 film “The Conjuring 2”. Several “Conjuring” spinoff films are also in development, which includes “Annabelle: Creation” - which hits theaters on August 11th of this year - and “The Nun” - which hits theaters on July 13th, 2018. Creature performer Javier Botet, who played The Crooked Man in “The Conjuring 2”, will presumably return for the upcoming spinoff. Are you looking forward to “The Crooked Man”?
