The film, which stars Kit Harrington, Natalie Portman, Jessica Chastain, Susan Sarandon, Kathy Bates, Jacob Tremblay, Nicholas Hoult, Michael Gambon, Bella Thorne, Chris Zylka, Emily Hampshire and Thandie Newton, “centers on an adult American TV star (played by Harington) and his correspondence with a young actor-to-be (played by Tremblay) living with his mother (played by Portman) in England. Their lives take dramatic turns when the existence of their pen pal relationship is publicly exposed, eliciting the most ill-founded assumptions, and sending Donovan into a tailspin.
