“Transformers” - “Bumblebee” spinoff film being set in the 80s

During an article in the latest issue of Empire Magazine, several new details on the upcoming “Transformers” spinoff films were revealed! According to Empire, the upcoming “Bumblebee” prequel film, which hits theaters on June 8th, 2018, will take place in the 1980s. The film, however, is not the only spinoff planned: as an animated Cybertron prequel is also still in development as well as another prequel set in ancient Rome. “Transformers: The Last Knight”, the series’ latest film, will hit theaters on June 21st, 2017.
