Spider-Man: Homecoming in theaters, IMAX is a no-brainer

For those who want the premium experience to watch Spider-Man: Homecoming in theaters, IMAX is a no-brainer. Seeing the webhead swing through New York can give someone vertigo on any screen, but seeing the action sequences on the IMAX format can immerse audiences with Spidey on a whole other level.
MAX has unveiled a special Spider-Man: Homecoming edition of their countdown before a film plays. This countdown uses the colors and webbing that reflect the hero, and emphasizes Peter Parker’s rise from being known as a local hero to this transition of becoming a superhero that is worthy of joining the Avengers.

Folks, the wait is almost over. We are finally getting a bigger taste of Spider-Man’s presence within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Fans were already excited with Tom Holland’s debut in Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War, but are they ready to see how he holds his own in his own movie? If the reviews are any indication, the answer is a resounding yes.

Here’s the synopsis for Spider-Man: Homecoming:
“A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.). Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine – distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man – but when the Vulture (Michael Keaton) emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.”
Spider-Man: Homecoming opens in theaters and IMAX on July 7, 2017.
