Dazzler appearing in “X-Men: The Dark Phoenix”

Entertainment Weekly is reporting that classic “X-Men” character Dazzler will make her cinematic debut in the upcoming “X-Men: The Dark Phoenix”! According to EW, the character - who’s mutant abilities allow her to manipulate light - “will pop up but only in a small role”. The character of Dazzler was previously featured in a deleted scene from “X-Men: Apocalypse” - played by pop star Taylor Swift. EW claims “there is no plan at the moment to have Swift play” Dazzler in the film. “X-Men: The Dark Phoenix”, which stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Alexandra Shipp, Sophie Turner, Tye Sheridan, Kodi Smit-McPhee and Jessica Chastain, is written and directed by Simon Kinberg and hits theaters on November 2nd, 2018.
