" Venom " not in MCU ?
While speaking to AlloCiné, Marvel Studios President Kevin
Feige confirmed that the upcoming “Venom” standalone film will NOT take
place within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. When asked about “Venom”’s
place in the Marvel continuity, Feige said the following: “For now,
there is no plan for Venom in the MCU. It’s a Sony Project.” “Venom”,
which will star Tom Hardy in the titular role, is written by Scott
Rosenberg and Jeff Pinkner, directed by “Zombieland”’s Ruben Fleischer
and hits theaters on October 5th, 2018. The film centers on Eddie Brock,
who “is able to converse and have a relationship with the symbiote,
which culminates to him becoming Venom.” What do you think of “Venom”
not officially taking place within the Marvel Cinematic Universe? Let me
know in the comments!
