Samuel L. Jackson will reprise his role as Nick Fury in “Captain Marvel”!

Deadline has confirmed previous reports that Samuel L. Jackson will reprise his role as Nick Fury in “Captain Marvel”! The film, which stars Brie Larson in the titular role, is written by Meg LeFauve and Nicole Perlman, will be directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck and hits theaters on March 8th, 2019. Earlier this year, Jackson commented on possibly making an appearance in “Captain Marvel” while taking about a potential Nick Fury standalone film, saying: "Yeah, I’d love to do a Nick Fury movie. I’m always open and game. But they got ‘Infinity War’s, two movies to do there, and after that there’s Brie [Larson’s] movie ‘Captain Marvel,’ which maybe [Nick] will be part of.” Jackson and Brie Larson previously worked together on “Kong: Skull Island” as well as Larson’s upcoming directorial debut “Unicorn Store”.
